Some of our team members got into a call.
The main person, we’ll call The Worm, will be conducting a video call with our team overseas to guide them into migrating from Skype to Microsoft Teams.
Lodi, who is not needed in this call, ordered The Worm to include him in the call.
When the call started, Lodi goes, “I will just be working in the background. I’ll be here if you need me.”
So The Worm starts guiding our overseas team on the first steps they need to take.
Less than 10 minutes into the call, without fail, as what always happens, I notice The Worm has stopped talking.
His voice has been replaced by Lodi’s voice, leading the meeting, instructing everyone what to do, just asking The Worm each step of the way if what he’s about to do is correct.
Mind you, for a simple Skype to Microsoft Teams migration which should only take less than a day to finish, Lodi made this task into a 1.5-month task.
Facepalm.
